Upon retiring from Animal Friends, Pittsburgh's no kill animal shelter, after 21 years, I am excited to be able to pursue my dream of becoming a full time pet-sitter. Before returning to my hometown of Pittsburgh, I worked for 10 years as a vet assistant at Carter Animal Hospital in Winter Haven Florida, where I also did pet-sitting for friends and clients. Retirement has given me the time to devote to what I love---taking care of dogs and cats! From years of taking care of my own pets (currently 4 Greyhounds and 3 cats), I understand how important it is to feel secure in knowing that your beloved companion is safe, secure, and happy in your absence. I will provide dedicated, responsible, loving care for your precious pets. I am available for daily dog walks, overnight care, as well as poop scooping and litter box cleaning. The initial visit to meet each other and discuss your needs is free of charge. The areas of Pittsburgh I serve are North Side (including Mexican War Streets and Allegheny Center) and near North Hills, Bellevue, Avalon, Ben Avon, Emsworth, Troy Hill, Washington's Landing, and parts of the West End and Mt. Washington. Travel to other areas for a slight increase in travel cost can be discussed.
RATES
1/2 hour dog walking---$15 per visit
Overnight stay---$60 per 8:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. stay. Includes mail pick-up, plant watering.
